Overview:

In the besieged kingdom of Valheim, the castle of Takeda stands as the last bastion against relentless waves of invaders known as the Claymores. For centuries, these formidable foes have battered the kingdom’s defenses, and now, hope rests on your strategic acumen. Amidst the influx of civilians—who bolster your economy and defenses—lurks a deadly secret: spies disguised as innocents. Can you discern friend from foe before it’s too late?

Story:

Valheim has long been under siege by the seemingly endless ranks of Claymores, ranging from common peasants to elite knights and imposing tank-like warriors. Despite the natural protection offered by the mighty Megami River, which shelters displaced villagers and prisoners of war, the kingdom teeters on the brink of collapse. The castle of Takeda, your stronghold, must be fortified against these mounting threats. However, not all who seek refuge are genuine; some are imposters, undermining your efforts by sabotaging the economy. Occasionally, fortune smiles upon you—a rare wizard may emerge from the crowd, granting a substantial gold bonus to aid your defense. Your mission is clear: secure the castle, manage your resources wisely, and identify the traitors hidden among the civilians.

Gameplay:

Dual Front challenges you to balance resource management with tactical defense. Key gameplay elements include:

• Defensive Structures: Strengthen your castle using cannons and archers. Upgrades are available but become progressively more expensive.

• Offensive Abilities: Wield a powerful fire spell—available after a short cooldown—to neutralize elite enemy units such as knights and the formidable big knight.

• Enemy Waves: Survive five escalating waves of enemies. Each wave presents a mix of common and specialized units that test your defensive strategies.

• Economic Management: After each wave, decide when to open the castle gate to admit civilians. While most civilians contribute positively to your economy, hidden spies can inflict negative growth.

• Special Encounters: Watch for the rare wizard among the civilians, whose presence bestows an immediate bonus of +1000 gold.

The game ends when either the castle's health is depleted or the economic growth becomes negative.

How to Play:

1. Start: Click the “Start” button to commence the game.

2. Gathering: A crowd will rush toward the castle's back gate and gather at the bridge.

3. Gate Management: Open and close the gate strategically to admit civilians into the castle.

4. Upgrade Phase: Use the period between waves to upgrade your defenses.

5. Combat Phase: Listen for the war horns that signal the start of enemy waves. Use your fire spell judiciously to counter elite threats.

6. Survival: Successfully defend against all five waves to secure victory.
